took a much needed (and too quick) vacation to new zealand to pick up kid #2. a study abroad trip in christchurch, lots of travels and meat pies- i think S had a pretty good time down there. showed us around to some favorite spots and we even went traveling up the west coast. totally amazing place- we traveled thru auckland, wellington (did you know that this spot is the capital of new zealand?), wanaka, te anau, franz josef, and christchurch.... it was like kaneohe, the swiss alps, morro bay, and volcano all rolled into one. plus a lot of fun bird photos. can't wait to go back. if you get a chance to visit zealandia- please do. bird sanctuary surrounded by a huge fence, dedicated to keeping birds safe and growing up with their native trees and habitats. if you would like to order any of these prints for your own home- please see the gallery here.
