took a much needed (and too quick) vacation to new zealand to pick up kid #2. a study abroad trip in christchurch, lots of travels and meat pies- i think S had a pretty good time down there. she showed us around to her favorite spots and we even went traveling up the west coast. totally amazing place- we traveled thru auckland, wellington (did you know that this spot is the capital of new zealand?), wanaka, te anau, franz josef, and christchurch.... it was like kaneohe, the swiss alps, morro bay, and volcano all rolled into one. plus a lot of fun bird photos. can't wait to go back.
